
Ghana will end the year in 58th place in the FIFA shoppingmode ranking, having risen three places following their participation in the recently concluded World Cup.
Ghana began the competition as the 32nd-lowest-ranked team, having been relegated to 61st place.
Their ranking has risen as a result of their victory over South Korea, but they have also lost to Portugal and Uruguay.
The Black Stars’ position in the African rankings, however, remains unchanged, as they are still ranked 11th.
Senegal fall to second place on the continent, with World Cup semi-finalists Morocco taking the top spot.
Tunisia comes in third with Cameroon and Nigeria coming 4th and 5th respectively.
