According to a citinewsroom.com report, a Sekondi Commercial High Court condemned Ghanaian musician and businessman Nhyiraba Kojo to 30 days in jail for contempt.
According to the breaking news, Nhyiraba Kojo defied a court order for him to build soundproofing and stop noise pollution coming from his nightclub, so Justice Sedina Agbemava imposed the term.
According to the reputable website from which we gleaned this information, three Fijai residents, Edmund Sampana Dienorng, Nicholas Imbeah, and Samuel Kofi Dzukey, brought the complaint after growing alarmed by the loudness coming from the musician’s nightclub, NK City Nightclub.
Pamela Arvoh-Mensah of Owusu Ankomah ArvohMensah, Dzigba and Associates, who represents the petitioners, is also described as endorsing the court’s decision and outlining Nhyiraba Kojo’s option to dismiss the contempt charge and avoid serving the full 30-day punishment.
