“I Hope You Respect Me, I’m Gay” – Iker Casillas Admits

Iker Casillas, a legendary player for Real Madrid and Spain, has jokingly revealed that he is gay. Iker tweeted under his official account, “I hope you respect me: I’m gay.

The former goalie, one of the best of the current era, aged 41, sarcastically posted this, possibly to gain attention online.

Many social media users have also commented on the report, suggesting it might just be a myth that other global sports hubs are included.

In his most recent answer to his earlier post, Casillas responded to rumors of a relationship between himself and Alejandra Onieva with a powerful tweet.

However, he removed an earlier post about coming out as gay from his social media accounts.

Although Casillas and Sara Carbonero shared two children and were married from 2016 to 2021, Casillas has finally bravely shared his true tale with the public.

During his 16 years as a goalie with Real Madrid, the former keeper won numerous prestigious awards, including three Champions League wins and five La Liga championships.

With the Spanish national squad, Casillas also won the World Cup and two European Championships while making a total of 167 appearances.
