I’m still putting in a lot of work despite the international signing – Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy, a musician from Ghana, has admitted that despite joining the Def Jam Music record company, he still needs to work harder.

The ‘Manodzi’ crooner expressed his happiness at the chance to collaborate with such a label in a recent interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast.

He remarked “I joined Def Jam with my Burniton Music Group so we can all progress because they’ve seen my hard work and they appreciate my efforts.

“That’s where we are today which is making us happy that we’ve also gotten such an opportunity to work from that angle,” he added.

“It’s all about working hard and nothing comes easy and what we’ve seen so far is amazing but it’s not as if we’re just sitting idle for the work to progress but we still put in a lot of work.

“But there is the need for hands to support because the bigger the work, the more the hands or the further you want to go the bigger the engine, ” he stated.

Due to his ability to perform in a variety of musical genres, Stonebwoy is referred to as a “multifaceted artiste” and typically raggaes in Jamaican Patois (Patwa or Patwah). He was nominated and awarded numerous honors in 2015, including “Album of the Year” and “Artist of the Year.” Necessary Evil, his sophomore album, won three Ghana Music Awards out of a possible six.
