The Israeli government has assured that they’re committed to the safety of all foreign nationals, including Ghanaians, amid rising tensions with Hamas. The conflict has already claimed many lives, raising concerns among Ghana’s government about its citizens in Israel.

Aviel Avraham, Deputy Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, expressed his sorrow over the situation and assured that they’re doing everything to restore peace. He said that all necessary information is being shared with everyone in Israel, including foreigners.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has expressed its shock and sadness over the conflict. They’ve condemned the attacks and urged Hamas to halt them and withdraw their militants. They’ve also called on Israel to exercise restraint in its response.

The Ministry has urged both sides to resume negotiations, reiterating Ghana’s support for Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, but also emphasizing the need for restraint.
