A shocking incident occurred in the village of Yaw Anane near Sefwi Akaatiso in the Bia West District of the Western North Region, where a 35-year-old labourer, whose name remains undisclosed, is now in custody of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly murdering his landlord, identified as Agya Anto, for supposedly having an affair with his daughter.
The labourer had suspected his landlord of engaging in an illicit relationship with his daughter, which led to him confronting Agya Anto in a fit of rage, warning him of dire consequences if he continued his actions. This confrontation escalated into a quarrel, which required intervention from bystanders to separate the two men.
In a horrifying turn of events, the labourer attacked Agya Anto while he was bathing, gruesomely beheading him. The assailant was swiftly apprehended by the locals who reported the incident to the Akaatiso Police station. The police arrived on the scene to arrest the labourer and to recover the lifeless body of Agya Anto. An investigation into this gruesome incident has been initiated by the police.
