
Nana Ama McBrown, a well-known Ghanaian actress and television host, is 46 today, August 15.
The versatile actress had made a promise to “make noise” about her birthday in recent days, and she is now keeping her word by posting a ton of lovely photos to celebrate on her various social media platforms.
She wrote that she is celebrating her life with no regrets in one of her Facebook birthday postings.

The amount of support and well wishes has been overwhelming, and many of her fans and well-wishers have blessed her timeline and left birthday comments under her numerous posts.
Numerous celebrities, including the gospel singers Obaapa Christy and Abena Ophelia, prayed for McBrown’s long life and the blessings of God.

Nana Ama McBrown, real name Felicity Ama Agyemang, gained notoriety for her performance in the television series Tentacles.
She later achieved widespread recognition as a result of her performances in the Twi-language films “Asoreba” and “Kumasi Yonko,” and she has since become a significant figure in the Ghanaian film industry.
In her more than two decades of acting, McBrown has undoubtedly won the hearts of many and become a favorite due to her flexibility and ability to flawlessly interpret her parts.
Acting
When McBrown responded to a radio audition request from Miracle Films, she was initially employed to work in costuming but was later offered the lead role because the director, Samuel Nyamekye, thought she was more suitable for it. Her career was launched when her debut film, That Day, was released in 2001. She was cast in the TV series Tentacles thanks to her performance in That Day.
McBrown co-starred with Mercy Aseidu and Agya Koo in the movie “Asoreba” in 2007. She has since appeared in a number of films.

McBrown represents the Royal Drinks brand. She represents the So Klin washing powder brand. She was chosen to serve as an ambassador for the COVID-19 National Trust Fund in March 2021. She also represents the MacBerry biscuit brand. She represents the Hisense brand as its ambassador.

Up until March 2023, she served as the host of the UTV television food program McBrown’s Kitchen and the entertainment chat show United Showbiz.
She now serves as the host of Onua Showtime on the Media General subsidiary Onua TV.

The 2011 Kumawood Awards gave McBrown several prizes, including Best English Actress, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Traditional Movie, and Best Story. She has appeared in a large variety of motion pictures. She also took home awards for Favorite Actress at the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards and Best Dressed Female Celebrity by Eurostar on the red carpet. At the Golden Movie Awards in 2018, she also won Golden Actress for her work in the comedy SideChic Gang.
She received the TV Female Entertainment Show Host Of The Year 2019-2020 award from the Radio and Television Personality Awards in 2020. She also chose the title of 2019–2020 TV Female Presenter of the Year.
At the third Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) ceremony in 2020, she was given the Outstanding Woman Brand Influencer award.
She received the Female Actor of the Year honor at the Entertainment Achievement Awards in March 2021.
