Ghanaian music icon, Daddy Lumba, has died.
The legendary highlife musician, known outside showbiz as Charles Kojo Fosu, passed on earlier today after a short illness.
The sad event took place at The Bank Hospital in Accra.
This was confirmed in a statement released by his family.
The family has appealed for privacy as they come to terms with the loss, adding that funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
