St Louis Girls had proved themselves when they led the contests from round one through to even the challenging riddles in round five.
For the victors, it was all joy at a resounding victory, one that was mathematically guaranteed even before the contest entered the final round.
They came, saw and conquered one of the favourites to win the competition.

Adisadel College has been eliminated in the ongoing National Science and Maths Quiz in a dramatic showdown.
Adisadel College has lost its seeded spot and they must now fight through regional qualifiers for a chance to return to the big stages in 2024.
