Nigerian singer Oxlade has reacted after getting dragged for showing fake love to the late singer, Mohbad.
Oxlade had previously posted a screenshot of a communication Mohbad had written to him in 2018, which he had ignored.
Mohbad praised Oxlade’s singing abilities in the message, calling his voice “extraordinary” and expressing his admiration for him.

Unfortunately, Oxlade did not respond to his message, and to make matters worse, he had blocked Mohbad’s account.
Netizens who noticed it rushed to the microblogging platform to shame him for the phony love, citing how the industry is rife with it.
In response, Oxlade removed the picture from his Instagram profile and uploaded another screenshot of a conversation he had with the late musician.
In the chat, the two had hailed themselves as they expressed how proud they were of each other.
Similarly, Rema also faced backlash after he shared a screenshot of the message he received from the late singer.
Mourning Mohbad, Rema revealed how he ignored Mohbad’s message on his Instagram page in 2020 where the late singer stated how much he really likes his song “Peace Of Mind.”
He said he didn’t see the message until the death of Mohbad and he added that it is now too late to reply to him.
