Rumors that Steve Harvey’s wife Marjorie Bridges had an extramarital affair with the couple’s bodyguard and personal chef have been denied by Harvey. On Sunday, August 27, the 66-year-old television presenter clarified the situation while speaking at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta.
Marjorie and Steve started dating in 1990, but they didn’t get married until 2007—17 years later.He adopted Lori, a model in her twenties, Morgan, and Jason, Marjorie’s three children from a previous relationship.From 1996 through 2005, the host of the game show was wed to Mary Shackelford. Speaking at the event, he said: ‘Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marjorie’s fine,’ followed by cheering from the audience.
‘I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do ’cause we fine. Lord have mercy. Man,’ Harvey expressed, later adding, ‘I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip.
