Vote for a candidate who can win elections in 2024 – Bawumia

In his quest to become the next leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia is urging party delegates to consider his experience and marketability in the upcoming November 4 presidential primaries.

Believing that he is the best choice to secure a victory for the party in the 2024 elections, Dr. Bawumia is confident that under his leadership, the NPP will continue the good work of President Akufo-Addo’s administration.

During his campaign tour in the Western North Region, specifically in the Bia West and Juaboso constituencies, the Vice President emphasized the current administration’s successful social intervention programs.

These include free SHS and Technical and Vocational Education Training, the reintroduction of teacher and nursing training allowances, free WASSCE and Basic Education Certificate Examination registration, and the one constituency one ambulance initiative, among others.

Dr. Bawumia also highlighted the government’s efforts in the cocoa sector, mentioning the cocoa rehabilitation program and the provision of free cocoa seedlings and plantain suckers to farmers in the Western North region. He proudly noted the government’s increase in the price of cocoa, which is now at an all-time high.

In addition to these achievements, the Vice President announced plans to establish a welfare fund specifically for polling station executives.

This initiative aims to encourage them to work harder for the party’s best interests. Dr. Bawumia is also committed to fostering unity and peace within the party, confident that he possesses the qualities necessary to bring everyone together.

Accompanying the Vice President on his campaign tour were several notable figures, including Madam Catherine Afeku, former campaign team member of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, Mr. William Benjamin Assuah, Former Regional chairman and regional coordinator for Alan, Mr. Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu, former Western North Regional Minister and Mr. Richard Ebbah Obeng, Western North Regional Minister.

Others included Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng, Member of Parliament for Bibiani -Anhwiaso -Bekwai constituency, Augustine Blay, Executive Secretary to the Vice President, and Mr Alex Tetteh, Member of Parliament for Akontombra.
