Ricky Nana Agyemang, aka Bullet, the CEO of RuffTown Music, has revealed that the label intends to fly Wendy Shay outside the nation for medical treatment.
In an interview with Andy Dosty of HitzFM, Bullet stated that Wendy Shay would shortly be flown to Germany for more medical care.
“It was very severe. It was extremely severe. She has spent five days in the hospital. Right now, what we are planning to do is to fly her to Germany for further medical checks.
“We are going to see the police this morning. We have been there, and they said they have to test the car and everything. We hope they get done soon,” he stated.
When questioned about the severity of the collision, Bullet stated that Wendy was struck by a tipper truck that was carrying stones and traveling at high speed.
According to him, Wendy Shay’s car was struck from behind by the truck, forcing her to strike her head against the dashboard.
He mentioned that Wendy, who was at the time traveling home from a video shoot for her new song with her personal assistant, was involved in the incident.
“Imagine your car being hit by a tipper truck with gravels and stones. It was extremely severe. When you see how heavy the tipper truck was and how it hit her from behind, it was serious. She was getting off the highway trying to branch. There’s no way a tipper truck can hit a Jeep Wrangler from behind and the person will survive it,”
When questioned about his whereabouts at the time, Bullet responded, “I was in Kumasi trying to promote Wendy’s new songs and I heard that this happened so I had to rush back.”
Over the weekend, Wendy’s Jeep Wrangler, which had the license plate SHAY 21-19, was involved in an accident with a tipper truck.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023, the tragedy happened on Accra’s Kwabenya Road.
