WeProtect Global Alliance (‘the Alliance’) brings together over 270 members from governments, the private sector, civil society and intergovernmental organisations to develop policies and solutions to protect children from sexual exploitation and abuse online.(JOB VACANCY AT WeProtect Global)

The Alliance launched as an independent organisation in 2020 following the combination of two initiatives:

  • The European Commission and US Department of Justice’s Global Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse Online; and
  • WePROTECT, established by the UK Government as a global multi-stakeholder response to combating online child sexual abuse.

WeProtect Global Alliance is registered as a Stichting (foundation) in the Netherlands, with a subsidiary company registered in the UK. A Global Policy Board provides expertise and advice to monitor and guide the activities of the organisation.

Deadline for applications: 10am GMT, 18 March 2024

  • Location: Home-based within 90 minutes travel of Central London, with occasional national and international travel
  • Contract: Permanent and full time
  • Reporting to: Head of Advocacy, Policy and Research
  • Salary: £45,000-£50,000 p/a

The successful candidate will demonstrate considerable professional experience in a comparable role.

Applicants will have a strong track record of carrying out policy and practice relevant research, coordinating projects, developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, and ability to identify new research opportunities.

They will have a broad range of skills, including designing and implementing research projects, research analysis, project management and knowledge of child rights.

They will be a strong team-player, inspiring and supporting their colleagues, team members, WeProtect Global Alliance members and external partners.
