Neymar, Vinicius Jr., and Richarlison are all part of Brazil’s star-studded lineup for their next friendly match against Ghana.
On September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve, France, the South American nation will play the Black Stars.
The majority of the Selecao’s roster consists of strikers, including Roberto Firmino of Liverpool and Antony Santos of Manchester United.
The last international friendly between Ghana and Brazil ended in a 1-0 victory for Brazil, so the Black Stars will be looking for better results this time.
In the meantime, Inaki Williams and Tariq Lamptey, who recently switched allegiances, have been invited to their first international match by Ghana coach Otto Addo.
The roster also includes Mohammed Salisu, Stephan Ambrosius, and Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer, who are all making their debuts.
Along with the regular suspects Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, and Daniel Amartey, the team also includes Hearts of Oak actor Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
However, there are a few surprise omissions, like Salis Abdul Samed and the in-form Joseph Paintsil, who have both been overlooked despite Genk’s three goals and one assist this season.
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain, Addo’s team will play Nicaragua following the contest with Brazil.
