NPP Elections: John Boadu Loses Seat as General Secretary (full list of winners)

John Boadu, the incumbent General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, has lost his post to Justin Frimpong Kodua, the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

Mr Kodua received 2,837 votes, whereas John Boadu received 2,524 votes at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference, which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Former Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Mayor Iddrisu Musah came in second with 104 votes, followed by Frederick Opare Ansah with 50 votes and Ramseyer A. Agyeman-Prempeh with 8 votes.

Since being appointed as acting General Secretary in 2015 and later elected as a substantive scribe for the NPP, John Boadu has held this role.
